Longhill is a popular and thriving non-selective 11 to 16 comprehensive school with excellent facilities set in attractive surroundings. The school enjoys a happy and purposeful atmosphere, created and maintained by dedicated teaching staff, in which all students are given every opportunity to develop their talents and achieves success. All computers have computers available to students it also has six dedicated ICT suites. The school library, open to all during lessons, at lunch and after-school, also has 19 computers. The following clubs meet regularly at lunchtime and after-school: aerobics, athletics, basketball, cricket, orchestra, soccer, tennis, rugby, netball, dance and hockey. The school enjoys a positive and purposeful atmosphere within which all its students can flourish and fulfil their potential.
