Background:
Chyngton School was built in 1958. The school has its own playing fields and swimming pool, a spacious IT suite and interactive whiteboards in each classroom. The children are organised into single age classes in each year group. The school aims to provide all children with a broad experience and good skills levels through physical education. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include football, netball, cricket, hockey and rugby. The school endeavours to treat all children as individuals and to help them to progress individually to their full potential.
