Background:
Chantry is a one-form entry school. During lunchtime and after school the pupils' at Chantry are offered to take part in clubs such as football, netball, dance/drama, computer, reading, rugby, sewing, country dancing and drama. All pupil go on educational visits to enrich the learning that is taking place in school. The older children also undertake very successful residential educational visits, which encourage independence, self-reliance, leadership and team building. All Chantry pupils will continue to have the opportunity to develop within a safe caring environment which promotes high standards of education, behaviour and morals and prepares them for the next stage of their lives. The school will endeavour to develop the whole child, through a balanced curriculum developed by a strongly motivated team in an ever changing environment.
