Background:

Ringmer Primary School is situated on the eastern edge of the village of Ringmer. The school was built in 1971 an extension was added in 1992 to accommodate the junior classes and other facilities. The school has two hard play areas and a large area of grass for the children to play on. During the school year, various clubs and activities develop in response to the interests of teachers or pupils, and these tend to vary from year to year. These facilities include basketball, cricket, karate, drama, netball, cross-country running, gymnastics and football. The school aims to provide an atmosphere and a richness of experience within which each child's unique qualities can flourish.
