Background:
Wadhurst Church of England Primary School is a primary and nursery school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is three to 11. The school is situated in the centre of Wadhurst, close to the main residential streets of the town. The school has a large school grounds including a field, a wildlife area, a tarmac playground for playtime activities, a newly planted orchard and a soft bark quiet area with picnic benches. It has ten class bases, together with a library/ICT suite, a large hall, food technology room and a music room. A wide range of clubs has been offered during the year including: art, athletics, choir, cookery, cricket, dance, football, French, karate, netball, recorders, rounders, story and tag rugby. The school aims to promote pupils spiritual, moral, cultural and social development through the positive ethos of the school and to enable children to develop an appreciation of the Christian faith.
