Background:
Ticehurst and Flimwell School is a voluntary controlled Church of England primary school for children aged between four to 11. The new building, opened in September 2004, provides a perfect setting for pupils to feel secure and flourish as individuals. It has seven classrooms, an ICT suite, a full-sized sports hall, a library, an outdoor learning environment, a sports field and a pre-school provision on site. The school offers an extensive range of extra-curricular activities in which children can take part depending on their age. It also provides a range of educational visits, including visits to National Trust properties, farms and museums. The school'strives to combine excellence in teaching with an enjoyment of learning, through high expectations of children's achievement.
